Food Safety & Allergen Information
At Eat Up Catering, food safety is taken seriously. Our food is prepared and handled following appropriate food hygiene practices, with allergen information provided across our menu to help customers make informed choices.
Allergen Information
Our kitchen handles a range of ingredients containing allergens. Although care is taken during preparation, we cannot guarantee that any dish is completely free from allergens due to the possibility of cross-contact in our kitchen and during preparation.
If you or any of your guests have a food allergy, intolerance or specific dietary requirement, please let us know before placing your order so we can provide the relevant information and advise on suitable choices where possible.
Our kitchen may handle all of the 14 allergens recognised under UK food information regulations, including:
Celery
Cereals containing gluten
Crustaceans
Eggs
Fish
Lupin
Milk
Molluscs
Mustard
Nuts
Peanuts
Sesame
Soya
Sulphur dioxide and sulphites
Dietary Requirements
All Eat Up Catering food is halal, and our menus include vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.
A dietary label such as vegan, vegetarian or gluten-free describes the ingredients used for that particular option; it does not mean the food has been prepared in an allergen-free environment.
If an allergy is involved rather than a dietary preference, please tell us before ordering.
After Delivery
Our catering is prepared for consumption on the day of delivery or setup.
Once an order has been delivered or a table has been set up, the customer or event organiser is responsible for ensuring the food is stored, displayed and handled appropriately.
Food should not be left at room temperature for longer than is safe or appropriate, particularly during warm weather or at outdoor events.
Grazing Tables & Food Displays
For grazing tables, buffets and other food displayed for guests, please keep the table away from direct sunlight, excessive heat and other conditions that may affect food safety or quality.
We recommend enjoying the food promptly after setup and following any storage or serving instructions provided by Eat Up Catering.
Leftovers & Storage
Any food kept after service should be refrigerated promptly where appropriate and stored safely.
Eat Up Catering cannot accept responsibility for food that has been incorrectly stored, transported, reheated or handled after delivery or setup.
