Food Safety and Allergen Information
At Eat Up Catering, we take food safety and quality seriously and follow strict hygiene practices when preparing and handling all food.
Our food is prepared in kitchens where common allergens may be present.
Allergen Awareness
While we take care to minimise cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that any food item is completely free from allergens.
Our kitchen may handle ingredients that contain:
• Nuts
• Peanuts
• Dairy
• Eggs
• Gluten
• Sesame
• Soy
• Mustard
• Fish
• Shellfish
Customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions should notify us when placing their order so we can advise on suitable options where possible.
Dietary Requirements
We offer a variety of menu options that may be suitable for different dietary needs, including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free selections. However, due to shared preparation areas, we cannot guarantee the complete absence of allergens.
Food Storage and Consumption
For food safety reasons, all catering items should be consumed on the day of delivery.
Eat Up Catering cannot accept responsibility for food that is stored, transported or handled incorrectly after delivery.
Food Handling and Consumption
All food provided by Eat Up Catering is freshly prepared and intended to be consumed shortly after delivery or setup.
For food safety reasons, we recommend that grazing tables and buffet-style catering are consumed within 2–3 hours of delivery or setup, particularly when food is displayed at room temperature.
Responsibility After Delivery
Once catering has been delivered or the grazing table has been set up, responsibility for food handling and storage passes to the customer or event organiser.
Eat Up Catering cannot accept responsibility for food that is left out for extended periods, stored incorrectly, or handled by guests after delivery.
Environmental Conditions
Food quality may be affected by environmental conditions such as heat, direct sunlight or outdoor settings. Where possible, we recommend placing catering displays in a cool and shaded area.
Customer Responsibility
It is the responsibility of the event organiser to ensure food is consumed within a reasonable time frame and handled appropriately once the catering service has been delivered or set up.
If you have any questions regarding allergens or ingredients, please contact us prior to ordering.
